This is not intended to be a complete list of groups advocating for Education Reform (some more than that). For more groups in SF and also in the Bay Area, see San Francisco Bay Area Progressive Directory. Currently, these groups are not forming horizontal alliances with each other. There are many reasons to do this. One reason for nonprofits to join forces with each other is to be able to push back on their funders' ability to make them compete with each other for funding and be able to limit what they can do with such funding.
